OUR MISSION

Dear Brothers and Sisters: We are a small group of Christians having a heavy burden for those “beaten to half dead” in mainland China, and willing to carry our own cross to follow our Lord. The new command Jesus gave us - “Love one another” (John 13:34) is our mission to love especially those brothers and sisters being brutally persecuted because of the name of our Lord.

Although the devil has huge power even in the United States, “My shield is God Most High” (Psalm 7;10). With the faith from our Lord, we have been persisting in doing our daily work for this ministry: to voice for those persecuted, to translate Jesus’ love into action to help those loving the Lord with soul and truth and struggling for survive under the terrorism regime, to live for the gospel to be preached legally, openly and freely in China, to fight a good fight for our Lord, and to glorify the cross with our lives.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ: These Chinese brothers and sisters left their names, photos and addresses with their testimonies while being harshly persecuted, not in order to be put in the police name list, but to let the deceived oversea Christians know the facts, and to testify their love for Lord overcomes everything on the earth even life!

The Three-self churches (the official churches) are the deceiving veil of the Communist Party. Their limited “freedom” can not prove true religion freedom, nor can it cover the long-term persecution facts of the house churches that outnumber the three-self churches.

A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers … leaving him half dead … A priest … So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him…Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.” (Luke 10:30-37) Did we, the free Christians, go and do likewise?

TESTIMONY OF BLOOD AND TEARS

Brother Yanbin Zhang, 43-year old, used to live in Zhaozhuang City, Shandong Province. He has been arrested, tortured, and jailed many times because of preaching the gospel. During a brutal torture in 1998, he was beaten almost to death with some major organs severely injured. Although he was brought back to life but he lost his spleen and part of his stomach. His poor wife fell sick in deep depression due to the persecution and passed away at her middle age. Their three young kids helped the dad to bury the mom in a tomb which epitaph only says “WAITING FOR LORD COMING AGAIN”. Due to the continuous persecution, they had to abandon their home and live a fugitive life. They still bring the gospel to wherever they can go although they are always in great need of food and clothing, not even to say housing or schooling for the kids …

This is just one example of the hundreds of thousands of house church Christians who have been silently enduring severe persecutions just because of their pure Christian faith. According to the results of our investigation in the past several years based on a sample size of 560,000 house church members, it is estimated that among over 60 million house church members there were 2,700,000 detained or arrested, 440,000 jailed, 10,000 tortured to death, 20,000 crippled by torture, 200,000 on running or missing, 750 officially wanted, and 1,130,000 heavily fined since China adopted open and reformation policies in the early 1980’s.

A FEW ENCOURAGING WORDS

Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners, and those who are mistreated as if you yourself were suffering.”

---- Hebrews 13:3

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

Each day, when we enjoy the happiness of life with hope for eternity and receive God’s abundant blessings, do we ask ourselves how we can enter into the heaven? Can the priest or the Levite passing by the “beaten to half dead” on the other side go to the heaven?

Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”…”I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me” (Matthew 25: 40-43)
