Photograph 8. This blue car had been watching us outside my home for 11 days before September 11, 2001. Later on, I found three car tailing us and I reported to police. This white car has been around my home all time day and night. Below: This car harassed us at midnight because the next day I was going to Washington D.C. to release the government document saying "meetings of three or more are illegal" together with an open letter to the visting Vice President Jingtao Hu.

Photograph 9. To protect the family and cause the attention from the community, I posted Anti-Terror sign in both English and Chinese on the windows. I also bought a string from Home Depot and trained my daughter how to escape in case of emergency. Also, to prevent the secret terror agency to set up some accidents such as fire at night, I started to work at night and rest at daytime. Since then, my daughter can only stay at home after school. She asked why she could not play outside with her elder brother. Without any choice, I told her the fact - "There would be terrorists outside anytime." My whole family has already lost the right to live a normal life.

Photograph 10. June 18th was my daughter's sixth birthday that she had been expecting for a long time. She was so excited on that day that she got up early in the morning at 6:00 to prepare gifts for her twenty classmates. One of my friends from the church was supposed to drive us to McDonald for celebration. Maybe he was afraid of being tailed by the secret agency of the Chinese Communist Party, he called us and asked us to go there by ourselves. We even did not mention which McDonald in the phone. Then we took a taxi to get to the McDonald at Kissena Blvd at Flushing. We found a man over forty-year old very strange. He did not appear to be having dinner: there was only a glass of Coke and a bag of French fries on his table, with a big bad beside him. He was playing his cell phone. He was sitting on seat with wide view, being able to see the whole restaurant, although he bent his head down for most of the time. I believed this was a typical action of spies. Therefore, I took a photograph of him in the front. And he did not question us as a normal person would.
