“Cut You to a Shameful Appearance to Meet People. See if You Still Dare to Preach!”

Wenping Tao, 29, from Honglin Town, Xuancheng City, Anhui Province, was arrested on April 28^th, 2003, by the police while preaching the gospel at Jiayu Qin’s home in Liutong Town, Guangde County. She was beaten up and humiliated.

She was sent to Guangde County Public Security Department State Protection Team. The team Party Director Wuhong Wang abused her when seeing her, “Shxx! Just out for several days and dare to preach again! I will teach you a lesson today!” Then he and another policeman beat her up. He grabbed her hair and slammed her onto a sofa. While pressing his knee against her head, he pulled up her back-cuffed arms violently. She cried out of pain…But Director Wang did not stop. Using his thumb, he pressed under her ears very hard. Then he picked a pair of scissors to cut her hair into a mess. He even cut off half of her eyebrows, gnashing his teeth ”Cut you to a shameful appearance to meet people. See if you still dare to preach…” Such torturing lasted till midnight and she was totally distorted. Then the police kicked her out, threatening to punish her to death if she still dare to preach.
