The Police Informed the Husband to Take Away His Wife Beaten to Half Death

At the night on February 27^th, 2003, Christian Meilian Fang was arrested from her home in Taozhou Town, Guangde County, Anhui Province. She was brutally tortured and beaten to half death.

At that night, the County Public Security Department State Protection Team Director Hu led more than a dozen police broke into her home. The police charged her with “receiving believers” and ransacked the house. Then the police took her together with several spiritual books and two recorders to the police department.

In the morning on 28^th, Meilian Fang was interrogated and beaten up. Director Hu shouted at her, “Say immediately! Whom have you received? Who is the leader?” Fang did not answer. Then Hu slapped her several times on her face. Two policemen pushed her on the ground and fixed her head and legs. Then Hu pressed his knees against her stomach and slapped her face very hard. After a while, he pinched her nose and poured water into her mouth (poor sister like a small lamb fell in a pack of wolves)… in such away, she was interrogated and tortured till midnight. Then the police dragged her up from the ground and cuffed her hands to a chair back and made her stand till the next noon when she was sent to the county detention center with the charge of “believing in cult”.

Meilian did not have any food or water for five days till March 4^th when she was almost dying from the torture. Then the police informed her husband to take away his wife, warning “more punishment if still believing in God and receiving believers!”
