Village Security Chief Confined Christians in Office

 

On January 28th, 2003, two women were released out of Liaoning Province Kuandian County Detention Center. They were Guizhi Fan from Todaohezi Village in Huanren County and Fengqing Liu from Aiyang Town, Fengcheng City who were detained 15 days ago because of preaching.

 

On January 14th, they went to share the gospel at Jianwei Han’s home in Shihugou Town, Kuandian County. The village security chief led several people forcibly took them to the village office and confined them there. Then they reported to Shihugou Town Police Station. Three police came and took the two Christians to the station. After confiscating the gospel materials, the police questioned them about the source of the materials and their religious activities. One policeman shook Sister Fan’s head by holding her hair. The police shouted and abused them. But they did not give in. in the afternoon, they were sent to the county detention center under the charge of “disturbing social order”.
