Mother and Daughter Arrested Because of Preaching

Yaqin Cao and her daughter Na Wang fled away from home because of religious persecution. Even though, they still preached and got arrested finally.

Yaqin Cao, 49, and Na Wang, 25, used to live in Yangshi Town, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. They fled away from home to Cao’s younger brother’s home in Xiaohei Village, Simiancheng Town, Changtu County. At the night on February 25^th, 2003, Sister Cao went to share the gospel at Chunjiu Zhang’s home in Sujia Village of the same town. She was reported to the police. The town police station Chief Guolong Liu led several people drive to Zhang’s home and arrested Cao to the station. At the night, Xiaohei Village security officer Yuhua Xie led the police to Cao’s brother’s home and took Cao’s daughter to the police station also. The next afternoon, the police went to Cao’s brother’s home again. The police ransacked the house even there was no body there. They took away a hand-written book.

The mother and daughter have been detained in Changtu County Detention Center for more than 100 days, and still not released yet.
