Five Female Christians Were Sexually Tortured by the Police

At noon on January 21^st, 2003, a woman’s desperate scream came out of the detention center of Heishan City Public Security Department of Heilongjiang Province, accompanied by a man’s shout, “Confess or not? If not I’ll pull you to death.” Shijun Bi, the policeman was “interrogating” a woman by pulling her breasts…The woman’s mouth was bleeding, and her breasts were dragged very hard by the police. She could not bear the humility and pain. But what could she do except screaming in desperate? (Free Christians, are you willing to help these helpless sisters?)

This woman was Huixia Liu, 39, from Taihe Town, Heishan County. She was a house church leader. On January 20^th, she was meeting together with other four sisters at Shanxia Piao’s home in Banlamen Town. The town police came and arrested them. The police confiscated all the books and took them to the police station, then to the county public security department for interrogation. The police tried to force them to tell why they believed in God, who were their contacts, and who were their leaders. All of them were sexually tortured and beaten up. The torture lasted till late night. Then they were sent to the county detention center.

In the next morning, Policeman Shijun Bi interrogated and tortured Huixia Liu again. He slapped her face, twisted her arms at her back, viciously pulled her breasts…for six hours. Sister Liu refused to tell anything through out such mistreatment. At last, she was detained for 10 days and fined 3000 RMB (~$400). The other four were also detained and fined as follows:

Guifeng Zhang, 52, from Taihe Town, detained for nine days;

Fengyan Lv, 52, from Taihe Town, detained for 11 days and fined 6000 RMB;

Fengqing Wang, 55, from Heishan Town, detained for 12 days;

Yanmei Fu, 34, from Heishan County, detained for 23 days, and fined 3000 RMB.

No receipt was given for all the fines.
