Preaching Is “Disturbing Social Order” – One Year Imprisonment

Yanxue Liu, a female evangelist from Chengjiao Town, Panjing City, Liaoning Province, was arrested because of preaching. She was sentenced to one year in labor camp under the charge of “disturbing social order”.

In the afternoon on March 2003, Yanxiu Liu went to a restaurant to look for Ming Han for sharing the gospel. Before she stepped into the restaurant, two plain-clothed policemen arrested her. Then she was taken to Youyi Police Station in Xinlongtai District, Panjing City. She was interrogated by Officer Runqiu Zhang, Director of State Protection Team of the District Police Branch. At 2:00 in the morning, she was sent to the city detention center till verdict. On April 23^rd, she was sent to Liaoning Province Masanjia Labor Camp to serve the sentence.
