The Police Forced the Family to Watch Their Evangelists
In the afternoon on March 14th, Evangelists Yanxiang Fu and Songzhi Mo went to share the gospel at Mingzhi Li’s home in Laojieji Town, Shangzhi City, Heilongjiang Province. Shortly after they arrived, two local policemen came in and arrested them to the town police station. The policemen confiscated their Bibles, spiritual books and tapes. After interrogation, they were sent to Shangzhi City 2nd Detention Center with the charge of “disturbing social order”.
Sister Mo’s family pleaded through some connections, and she was released on 15th. Sister Fu was bailed out on 29th after her family sent in 6000 RMB (~$800). The police warned and intimidated the two families, ordering them to watch the two evangelists and not let them to preach any more. Since then, the two evangelists have been under their families’ control and lost freedom.
