Two Evangelists Arrested While Preaching

Xiufeng Zhang, female, 37, from Xiangan Town, and Zhengying Jia, female, 41, from Xiaozhuang Village, Xiangan Town, Wuwei County, Anhui Province, were both Christians. In the afternoon on May 8^th, 2003, they were arrested while preaching the gospel at Yibing Shu’s home in Shilitun Town, Wuwei County. Under the charge of “disturbing social order”, they were sent to the county detention center. Zhang was detained for 7 days and Jia 15 days.
