The Associate Director of the County Police Department Came to Beat Him up

Jialin Ding was an evangelist from Honglin Town, Xuancheng City, Anhui Province. In the morning on March 13^th, 2003, he went to preach at Rongnian Liu’s home in Ximajian Village, Shizi Town, Langxi County. When he came back, he was stopped just out of the village by three policemen, and was then taken to the local police station. After receiving the report, Jiaping Cheng, the associate director of the County Public Security Department came immediately and led the interrogation and torture. Finally, the police sent him to Langxi County Detention Center for 15 days under the charge of “illegally believing and preaching”.
