Two Christians Arrested – One Beaten up and Detained and the Other Missing

Xuefeng Hou, male, from Yanglou Town, Yingdong Distirct, Fuyang City, Anhui Province, was a Christian of “Charismatic” house church. In the morning on June 27^th, 2003, he was preaching the gospel at Zhonglian Li’s home in Yangdazhuang Village, Yingdong District. The local police came and arrested him. After beating him up, the police sent him to Yingdong District Detention Center.

The next morning after Xuefeng Hou was arrested, Hualan Cheng, a female Christian of “Justification through Faith” house church was also arrested on her way back home in Houlou Village, Yingdong District after assembling. The police went to her home and did not find any thing. Then they just took her away. No information is available since then.
