She Was Tortured and Interrogated for Eight Times

On April 12^th, 2003, two evangelists were arrested in Huangqiao Town, Yingshang County, Anhui Province. One was detained for 47 days and then bailed out by 3000 RMB (~$400). The other one was still in detention center.

At that night, Evangelists Yongxia Li and Fengying Wu were taken into the county detention center under the charge of “disturbing social security”. During her detention, Yongxia Li was tortured and interrogated for eight times by the County Public Security Department State Protection Team Leader Zhongcheng Yang and others.

On May 29^th, after her family gave the police 1000 RMB and paid 3000 RMB fine, Li was bailed out. Fengying Li was still detained.
