The Prisoners Even Beat Him to Admit He Preached Cult

Changwei Song, living in Guanshui Town, Kuandian County, Liaoning Province, was an evangelist of “Free Group” house church. In the afternoon on May 17^th, 2003, he went to Shajianzi Town in Huanren County for preaching. When approaching the town, he was stopped by a village team leader for checking SARS. Then the leader reported to police and he was arrested to the town police station.

After the interrogation which resulted nothing, the police charged him with “pretending to be a doctor for SARS” and sent him to county detention center. Even the prisoners there beat him to admit he preached cult. He had to deny. He was released on June 1^st.
