A Liaoning Christian Sentenced to Three-Year Imprisonment
Lanxiang Wang, living in Wushun City Liaoning City, is a preacher of
Seventh Adventist Denomination. She was discovered by the police when preaching
and then arrested.
In the afternoon of September 3rd, 2002, several police from
the local police station followed her to her home. As soon as her got into her
home, the police blocked her inside and then interrogated her. Then without
showing any legal documents, they started to search her house. Later on, when
they worked hungry, they then ate and drank at the ”cult’s” home as if
they were the house owner. The police were “having fun” at her home until
midnight by when the whole house had already turned into a big mess. Finally,
the police took her and some spiritual books to Piaotun Police Station.
Then Sister Wang was sent to the City Detention Center. On September 20th,
she was sentenced to three years in jail under the charge of “cult”. She was
sent to Masanjia Labor Camp (Laojiao Camp) in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province
to serve the sentence.
